Location
Central Dalmatia
Kornati National Park is a protected archipelago of over 80 islands scattered across open sea between Šibenik and Zadar. There are no towns, no permanent settlements in the traditional sense — just raw limestone cliffs, dry stone walls, and deep blue water stretching in every direction.
Arriving by gulet feels different here. The landscape becomes quieter, barer, and more dramatic. Kornati isn’t about culture or nightlife — it’s about space and the feeling of sailing through something untouched.

Where You’ll Spend Time
Most yachts navigate slowly through the central Kornati channel before stopping in one of the protected bays such as Telašćica (on nearby Dugi Otok) or coves like Lavsa, Piškera, or Vrulje.
The anchorages are surrounded by low, moon-like hills with almost no vegetation. The contrast between white rock and dark blue sea is what defines the park visually.
Evenings here are particularly still. With almost no artificial light, sunsets feel expansive and uninterrupted.
Things to Do
Swim in Complete Isolation
Swimming in Kornati feels different from inner islands.
Here you’ll find:
Open Adriatic clarity
Deep, intensely blue water
Very limited shoreline development
Quiet anchorages with minimal traffic
Most guests spend the afternoon diving directly from the yacht and relaxing on deck.

Visit Telašćica Nature Park
At the southern edge of the Kornati area lies Telašćica Bay, known for its dramatic cliffs and saltwater lake Mir.
A short walk inland offers:
High cliff viewpoints over the open Adriatic
A calm salt lake suitable for swimming
Wide panoramic views across the archipelago
Slow Navigation Through the Islands
One of the highlights of Kornati is simply the passage itself. The narrow channels between islands create constantly changing perspectives — white stone ridges rising sharply from calm water.
This is where sailing becomes the experience, not just the stop.
Restaurants Within the Park
There are no towns, but a few traditional waterfront konobas operate seasonally inside the park.
Konoba Opat (Kornat Island)
Well-known stop with mooring buoys and seafood-based menus.
Konoba Levrnaka
Simple grilled fish and meat dishes, located near a sandy bay.
Konoba Vrulje
Family-run restaurant in one of the park’s larger natural harbors.
Reservations and mooring arrangements are typically handled by the crew.

Hotels (Pre / Post Charter)
There are no hotels inside Kornati National Park.
Guests typically combine a Kornati route with stays in Šibenik, Zadar, or Split before or after the charter.
