The Ship

Ambassador came out of the yard for the 2019 season and sits at the top of her class — Deluxe Superior, the rating Croatian operators reserve for ships with hotel-grade finishing and a full service crew. Steel hull, 49 m (161 ft) long, 8.6 m (28 ft) across.

Size is the point, but so is where it still lets her go. Twin 550 HP engines move her at a cruising 8.5 knots, unhurried by design: this is a ship that threads narrow channels, ties up inside small island harbours, and anchors in bays anything larger has to admire from a distance.

Behind the scenes: 3 generators, closed-circuit surveillance, a full navigation suite, smoke detectors, fire alarms, life rafts and tenders. Crew of 9, cruise director included.

Cabins & Accommodation

All 19 guest cabins are private ensuites with toilet and shower. Every one has its own air-conditioning panel plus an independent fresh-air line, so ventilation keeps running whether or not the AC is on. Beds are 200×80 cm twins or a 200×160 cm double.

  • Upper deck — 2 VIP cabins, 14–15 m². Two walls are shaded glass that cracks open for air

  • Main deck — 9 cabins, 14–15 m², twin or double, one opening window each. Cabin no. 17 breaks the pattern at 19 m² and counts as a third VIP

  • Standard deck — 8 cabins, 13–16 m², in the hull with 2 fixed portholes. Twin, double or triple; 2 of them take an extra bed

Fitted throughout: satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, mirror, night lamps, radio, 220 V sockets, wardrobe, under-bed luggage space, a working table and chair, lifejackets.

Layout

Nineteen cabins over three decks: 2 VIP cabins high on the upper deck beside the salon, 9 more along the main deck — including VIP no. 17 — and 8 on the standard deck below. The sun deck runs the full length above.

Sun deck — 390 m² with the Elegance rooftop jacuzzi
Upper deck — salon-restaurant and the 2 upper VIP cabins
Main deck — 9 cabins including VIP no. 17
Standard deck — 8 cabins

Salon, Terrace & Sun Deck

The salon-restaurant runs the width of the upper deck — extra-large, fully air-conditioned, its own bar and lounge corner, big-screen TV, and a dedicated buffet table for breakfast. Windows both sides. Wi-Fi throughout, and a PA the captain or cruise director uses for announcements.

Step outside and the covered terrace becomes the lounge bar: tables, chairs, sea view. Removable panels close it in when the wind gets up, though most days they stay off.

Up top, 390 m² of sun deck — sunbeds, shaded sections for the middle of the day, the Elegance rooftop jacuzzi, and the wheelhouse forward.

Swimming Stops

The stern platform is why the itinerary can stay loose. Two ladders with handholds, 2 outdoor showers and a public toilet mean a swim stop costs nothing more than dropping anchor — and Croatian island routes are built around them: quiet coves, empty beaches, the occasional sea cave.

Worth setting expectations: this is a small cruise ship, not a toy-laden charter yacht. No jet skis, no seabobs. What you get instead is space, a full crew, and a jacuzzi four decks up.

Frequently Asked Questions

After confirming the availability of your chosen yacht and your booking coming through, you will receive a charter agreement, which will be either a MYBA agreement or our charter agreement.

MYBA is the Mediterranean Yacht Broker Association and sets the standards for everyone in the industry to adhere to. With it, we can guarantee you the impeccable service you seek. The agreement will also include any additional charges and taxes that may apply to your choice of itinerary.

The yacht is confirmed when the deposit (which is normally 50% of the charter fee) is paid and the agreement is signed. Roughly two months before the balance and all the extras are due and that’s when we start planning your yacht holiday in detail. You will have our full support with the organization.

Learn more about the whole booking process.

APA is Advanced Provisioning Allowance. Paid in advance, it covers any additional expenses you rack up during your charter week. It includes fuel, marina fees, on-yacht meals, fuel for motorized water toys, other payable services, etc. Per the MYBA agreement, it’s usually in the range of 30-40% of the full price. If by the end of your charter, you haven’t spent the entire amount, you’ll receive the remainder of it back. If your expenses exceed the upfront paid amount, you’ll have to cover them before disembarking.

Booking yacht charter right before or already in the season is virtually impossible. Therefore, we suggest you aim to book the preferred vessel at least 6 months in advance to avoid the risk of losing out on it or the preferred dates.

Croatia’s Mediterranean climate makes it a fantastic yachting destination almost year-round, with each season offering a unique experience. Here’s what to expect:

✔️ Low Season: Spring (April – May)
Ideal for those who prefer milder temperatures, peaceful anchorages, and lower charter rates. The sea is still cool for swimming, but the landscape is lush, and coastal towns are pleasantly quiet.

✔️ Mid-Season: Early Summer (June) & Late Summer (September)
A perfect balance between warm weather and fewer crowds. The Adriatic is ideal for swimming, and marinas and towns are lively yet not overcrowded. This is one of the best times for a luxury yacht charter.

✔️ High Season: Peak Summer (July – August)
The height of the yachting season, when Croatia buzzes with energy. Expect hot temperatures, vibrant nightlife, and a full social scene. Popular marinas and anchorages fill up quickly, so early booking is essential.

✔️ Low Season: Autumn (October)
A quiet, relaxed escape with warm days and cooler nights. Some seasonal restaurants and attractions start to close, but the seas remain calm, making it an excellent time for those who want a private, crowd-free experience.

Gratuities are not subject to any written agreement, but they are customary. Depending on your satisfaction with the crew and service, you can pay between 10% and 15% to the captain, who will divide it among the entire staff.

Croatia’s official currency is the Euro. For payments onboard, you should carry some cash with you. As for the other transactions in the country, you can count on most places having an option for card payment. If not, you won’t have much trouble finding ATMs around, either.

The crew understands and can communicate with you in English. Some members are even multilingual, speaking languages like Spanish, Italian, German, etc. If you have any preferences, you may let us know, and we will find the best solution for you.

If you are unable to find a yacht that meets your requirements on our website, rest assured we are here to assist you. Our team of experts continuously updates our database with the finest and most current options available.

We have a comprehensive overview of the entire market, including new builds and the latest yacht arrivals, and we personally inspect new vessels to ensure they meet our high standards. If a suitable yacht is not available in Croatia, we can also suggest exceptional alternatives in other premier yachting destinations, tailored to your preferences.
