The Ship

Mama Marija II entered service for the 2021 season, which makes her the youngest ship on this page. It shows in details rather than headlines: sofa beds worked into the cabins that need them, beach towels stocked on the sun deck, new wooden decking laid up top for 2026.

She measures 49.9 m (164 ft) with an 8.8 m (29 ft) beam on a steel hull, Deluxe Superior class, twin 560 HP engines, cruising at 8.5 knots. Nineteen guest cabins across two accommodation decks, 42 berths, crew of 9 including a cruise director.

Closed-circuit surveillance, full navigation equipment, fire alarms, smoke detectors, life rafts and tenders are all aboard.

The Table

This is where Mama Marija II separates herself from her sisters. Her brochure leads with the food rather than the deck plan: Croatian cuisine specialities, top-class Croatian wines, and an itinerary built to suit both.

Breakfast is a buffet in the upper-deck salon. Beyond that, meals are arranged around the group rather than a fixed menu, and the wine stays Croatian — which on this coast is no hardship. Tell the crew how your group likes to eat and the galley plans backwards from there.

Food and beverage packages are quoted separately from the charter fee.

Cabins

Nineteen guest cabins across the main and standard decks, all modern ensuites with individual air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer and luggage space under the bed.

  • Cabin no. 19 on the main deck, 17 m² — the designated VIP

  • Main deck: 10 further cabins, 13–14 m², twin or double, several with an extra sofa bed

  • Standard deck: 8 cabins, 13–17 m², twin or double, some with a sofa bed, 2 portholes each

Those sofa beds are what take her to 42 berths, and they make her the easiest ship here for families or groups with children who would rather not be split across cabins.

Layout

Nineteen cabins sit across two accommodation decks: numbers 1 to 8 below, 9 to 19 on the main deck, with VIP no. 19 furthest forward. Above them the salon, galley and dining room take the upper deck, and the sun deck runs almost the full length of the ship on top.

General arrangement — sun deck, upper deck, main deck (cabins 9 to 19) and standard deck (cabins 1 to 8)

Sun Deck & Swimming

350 m² (3,800 sq ft) up top, part of it shaded, sunbeds throughout, beach towels provided, and the Elegance rooftop jacuzzi. New wooden decking went down for the 2026 season.

Below at the stern: swim platform, 2 ladders with handholds, 2 outdoor showers. Croatian island routes hand you swim stops most days, and this is the ship where nobody has to queue for a sunbed afterwards.

Frequently Asked Questions

After confirming the availability of your chosen yacht and your booking coming through, you will receive a charter agreement, which will be either a MYBA agreement or our charter agreement.

MYBA is the Mediterranean Yacht Broker Association and sets the standards for everyone in the industry to adhere to. With it, we can guarantee you the impeccable service you seek. The agreement will also include any additional charges and taxes that may apply to your choice of itinerary.

The yacht is confirmed when the deposit (which is normally 50% of the charter fee) is paid and the agreement is signed. Roughly two months before the balance and all the extras are due and that’s when we start planning your yacht holiday in detail. You will have our full support with the organization.

Learn more about the whole booking process.

APA is Advanced Provisioning Allowance. Paid in advance, it covers any additional expenses you rack up during your charter week. It includes fuel, marina fees, on-yacht meals, fuel for motorized water toys, other payable services, etc. Per the MYBA agreement, it’s usually in the range of 30-40% of the full price. If by the end of your charter, you haven’t spent the entire amount, you’ll receive the remainder of it back. If your expenses exceed the upfront paid amount, you’ll have to cover them before disembarking.

Booking yacht charter right before or already in the season is virtually impossible. Therefore, we suggest you aim to book the preferred vessel at least 6 months in advance to avoid the risk of losing out on it or the preferred dates.

Croatia’s Mediterranean climate makes it a fantastic yachting destination almost year-round, with each season offering a unique experience. Here’s what to expect:

✔️ Low Season: Spring (April – May)
Ideal for those who prefer milder temperatures, peaceful anchorages, and lower charter rates. The sea is still cool for swimming, but the landscape is lush, and coastal towns are pleasantly quiet.

✔️ Mid-Season: Early Summer (June) & Late Summer (September)
A perfect balance between warm weather and fewer crowds. The Adriatic is ideal for swimming, and marinas and towns are lively yet not overcrowded. This is one of the best times for a luxury yacht charter.

✔️ High Season: Peak Summer (July – August)
The height of the yachting season, when Croatia buzzes with energy. Expect hot temperatures, vibrant nightlife, and a full social scene. Popular marinas and anchorages fill up quickly, so early booking is essential.

✔️ Low Season: Autumn (October)
A quiet, relaxed escape with warm days and cooler nights. Some seasonal restaurants and attractions start to close, but the seas remain calm, making it an excellent time for those who want a private, crowd-free experience.

Gratuities are not subject to any written agreement, but they are customary. Depending on your satisfaction with the crew and service, you can pay between 10% and 15% to the captain, who will divide it among the entire staff.

Croatia’s official currency is the Euro. For payments onboard, you should carry some cash with you. As for the other transactions in the country, you can count on most places having an option for card payment. If not, you won’t have much trouble finding ATMs around, either.

The crew understands and can communicate with you in English. Some members are even multilingual, speaking languages like Spanish, Italian, German, etc. If you have any preferences, you may let us know, and we will find the best solution for you.

If you are unable to find a yacht that meets your requirements on our website, rest assured we are here to assist you. Our team of experts continuously updates our database with the finest and most current options available.

We have a comprehensive overview of the entire market, including new builds and the latest yacht arrivals, and we personally inspect new vessels to ensure they meet our high standards. If a suitable yacht is not available in Croatia, we can also suggest exceptional alternatives in other premier yachting destinations, tailored to your preferences.
