Location
Central Dalmatia
Location
Central Dalmatia
Skradin sits at the entrance of the Krka River, just inland from Šibenik. Unlike island stops, arriving here means leaving the open Adriatic and cruising upriver through a narrow, calm channel lined with green hills and stone houses.
The approach itself is part of the experience. The water becomes glassy and still, the air warmer, and the setting noticeably more inland and protected. Skradin feels peaceful and small — more village than town — and works beautifully as a contrast to outer island stops.

Where You’ll Spend Time
Most yachts moor along the Skradin waterfront or anchor just outside the marina in the sheltered river bay.
The harbor is compact and surrounded by pastel-colored houses, small cafés, and trees lining the promenade. Everything is within a short walking distance — there’s no need for transport once you arrive.
The atmosphere in the evening is relaxed, with soft lighting along the waterfront and very little traffic noise.
Things to Do
Visit Krka National Park
Skradin is the main boat gateway to Krka National Park.
From here you can take:
A short park boat transfer to Skradinski Buk waterfall
Walking paths over wooden bridges above flowing cascades
Scenic viewpoints overlooking the falls
Krka offers a completely different landscape from the islands — freshwater, greenery, and waterfalls instead of open sea.
Wine Tasting in the Hinterland
The hills around Skradin produce local wines, particularly Babić and Debit varieties. Several small wineries offer tastings within a short drive from the harbor.
It’s an easy half-day inland experience before returning to the yacht.

Evening Along the Riverfront
Skradin’s waterfront promenade is simple and charming. A slow walk along the marina at sunset is usually enough — this is not a nightlife destination.
Most guests enjoy a relaxed dinner ashore before returning onboard.
Restaurants in Skradin
Skradin is known for a few well-regarded restaurants concentrated around the harbor.
Restaurant Pelegrini (Šibenik nearby)
For guests seeking Michelin-level dining before or after visiting Skradin.
Konoba Mate

Restaurant Visovac

Reservations are recommended during summer months, especially for dinner after Krka visits.

Skradin offers small boutique-style stays rather than large resorts.
