Skradin sits at the entrance of the Krka River, just inland from Šibenik. Unlike island stops, arriving here means leaving the open Adriatic and cruising upriver through a narrow, calm channel lined with green hills and stone houses.
The approach itself is part of the experience. The water becomes glassy and still, the air warmer, and the setting noticeably more inland and protected. Skradin feels peaceful and small — more village than town — and works beautifully as a contrast to outer island stops.
Where You’ll Spend Time
Most yachts moor along the Skradin waterfront or anchor just outside the marina in the sheltered river bay.
The harbor is compact and surrounded by pastel-colored houses, small cafés, and trees lining the promenade. Everything is within a short walking distance — there’s no need for transport once you arrive.
